Default Check Engine Light

So I got back from Las Vegas Sunday morning. My car was not turned on the whole week while I was out. I turn on the car, everthing is fine and dandy. I get home to a couple of things, get back in the cars do some errands, then head back home. Everything is still fine. Then night time comes and I turn on the car, check engine light comes on. What is up with that? The car sound exactly the same as before, no sputtering, no wierd noises.

I have a custome SR intake and exhaust. I recently did a tune up everything was still fine after that. I spoke with my guy that does all the performance upgrades on my car and he said it's more than likely the MAFS, but he would still look up the code and see whats wrong.

Can someone help?

Could be anything, probably part of the emission system, won't cause any driveability problems.

there is no way to auto reset an obdII car, which is what you have. and even if you do reset it and make the light go off, if something is wrong, it will only come back on. do you just have cat back exhaust? and a cold air intake?

Yea, I just finished installing a custome catback exhaust with an Arospeed muffler prior to leaving to Vegas, and I have a SRI. The only thing I notice now, is before when I would turn on the car, I would hear the SRI sucking up tons of air. Now when I turn it on, it's not as loud as before. Is there a bypass module I can put?
