Default Stratus won't start

I have a 04 stratus sxt 4 door. Friday morning it was very cold and had a rough start, after a few seconds it started running fine. Ran my errands and the car started just fine again, but that night it was even colder, I started it really rough, then the check engine light came on and off twice then it died. Tried starting it again, turns over but won't fire. Once in a while it starts then dies immediately. I'm wondering if the fuel froze in the lines, it was -8 this morning, and was able to get it pushed into the garage. I did the manual key on/off to get the check engine code, but there weren't any problem codes, just says done.

Does the red dot security light flash when you're not cranking it?

No... It stays on for a couple of seconds then goes out.

This morning it was a little warmer at 20 degrees, and it seemed like it almost wanted to start. I put in a can of heet yesterday afternoon. The check engine light is on, but still not giving me codes.

If its a crank sensor, about 30 seconds of cranking should set a DTC.

First, thank you for all the advice! Its very appreciated. I pulled back the timing belt cover to make sure that was turning. It is, just wanted to make sure. I cranked it for about 30 seconds and still no codes, key on/off, and still just goes to done.. the temps are starting to go up and the snow is finally melting off the car in the garage, I thought for sure that it was going to start, by far the closet it has come. I have a space heater up by the engine compartment now and I'll give it an hour and try again. I'm just baffled why I'm not getting any codes.

Check your fuel pressure next I would think.
