P0302 code engine light on
Hi all, hope someone can help me out here with a little advice. I own a 2003 Stratus, it's a beater but for the most part it runs great. Today I was caught in a huge downpour. This concerned me as I did have issues when the car got wet in the past, the camshaft sensor to be specific.
Anyhow it was running fine, turned it off to run to the store, started her up again and suddenly it was running very rough and the check engine light came on. Solid at first, started blinking right before I got home. Tried starting it up later, same thing. Checked the code and it's a P0302, 2nd cylinder misfire.
My mechanic is about a mile or so from here. Is it safe to drive it there? It's very sluggish and obviously missing, smelled a faint whiff of fuel when I tried to start it in the driveway. or should I just get it towed? Any replies would be greatly appreciated!!!
