Default 2006 Dodge Stratus a/c won't turn to cool

Hi,

I have a 2006 Dodge Stratus. The compressor has already been replaced and the a/c module has been tested and works. But it only pushes hot air out. It has been charged and no leaks. Any ideas what it could be?

Clogged orifice or condenser. Have you put a set of gauges on it to see what the pressures are? Does the compressor turn on? Who has been doing the work?

I took it to precision auto tune. Compressor turns on.

A service facility competent in AC systems should be able to properly diagnose. As stated, something is clogged somewhere probably. Or a blend door in the duct work is stuck.

something you can try is pull fuse # 5(might be another fuse number on '06 there either be a cover or around the bottom of fuse it will be raised up slightly) inside drivers door fuse box leave fuse out for 10 minutes ,put fuse back in start car let idle for 5-10 minutes then check a/c operation. Dodge had an issue on earlier model years not sure if they got it fixed for 2006 model with body control module not communicating properly with a/c sometimes needs resetting
