Default timing marks

Can anyone tell me how to tell where the timing marks are on my 1998 dodge stratus 2.5 ltr v6 I cannot tell how to set the timing

You can't set the timing on the 2.5l. It uses the signal from the crank sensor through the PCM to regulate the coils and injector timing. There are marks on the cam and crank sprockets for reference when replacing the timing belt, but nothing external.

Are you talking about timing during a timing belt replacement?
