I signed up earlier screwed it up. My question. I own a 2001 dodge stratus RT. She has been running great I keep oil changed keep fluids up but yesterday when I left home everything was running got about 5 miles from when she started to feel like I wasn't pressing gas pedal. I looked at dash board and she was in drive the green box was lit but the neutral was flashing. She slowly stopped no gears worked or slap stick but I could get the rooms go up. Help me

 

Go to any parts store that can read any codes stored in your car's computer. Based on some quick searches, most likely problems - in order - are one of the transmission speed sensors, the solenoid pack, or the Transmission Control Module.

 

History as shown that when you have that transmission problem, a wave spring in the transmission has broken and gotten into the pump gear. Its probably time to locate a newer transmission.
