Default 04 stratus problem

I have an issue. I have a 2004 dodge stratus sxt 4cyl. When I start it up cold, a loud squealing sound comes from under the hood! It does this for only about 15 seconds then stops. But then the squeal comes back after I get down the road and stop! But once the engine is warm, it goes away. Also, when I turn on the ac, the engine acts like it wants to die! Any suggestions?

Id start by checking the belt for wearing and tension, check around the ac pully and condenser for metal shavings while it's running and another way to check is when the car is off you can unplug the power to the ac and see if it makes a difference off a cold start, the pully will spin freely, watch that pully for any hard wobbling or listen for metal catching (source of metal shavings), and try it again with power and watch/listen for differences.
