Default Shaking at 2500 RPM

I have a question about how to resolve this new issue with my 2005 Stratus 2.7L v6. The problem is that at exactly 2500 RPM the car starts shaking and will not go higher than 2500 RPM. This happens on every gear. Wasn't sure if this is a known issue with this car. It does have 246000 miles but it seems odd to just happen all of a sudden with normal driving. Thanks

Check engine light is not on and we have not serviced the transmission yet. Only had the car for a few months.

I’d start by catching up on all the required maintenance.

Found this video of another guy with the same car having this issue and replaced the Cam Position Sensor and it fixed the issue.
Not an expensive part to give it a try. Anyone else here have the same issue?
