Exhaust Issues Causing Mysterious Problem
2004 Dodge Stratus SXT 2.4L DOHC
So my exhaust is blown in 3 places. 1) Flexpipe near heat shield [Drives me insane it’s rattling against it] 2) Hanger rusted out leaving a quarter size hole. 3) an inch or so before the muffler I believe.
Clearly I need to look for a replacement exhaust system. Any suggestions? Not looking to break the bank.
Also the same day I realized my exhaust was screwed up I noticed that when I came to a stop. My car nearly died. I had to keep tapping the gas and brake to keep it running. Anyone had this issue before?
Please any any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.
