I was driving home and the horn started to honk little short honks then longer got to my driveway and then discovered it seems to have something to do with th steering wheel ,maybe but started to honk longer So I started to look on internet and not sure any help greatly appreciated thanks

 

Probably needs a new clockspring.

 

thank you for your reply I found another web site that said to take off air bag and replace"rusty" washers on the two bolts that had the same size torx , as the torx size that it too to take off air bag. So I after much worry and fear of touching air bags did the easy to do take off air bag from steering well the "rusty" washers were actually disintegrated rubber washers I put 4 new on 4 bolts and then put the airbag back in. Then I reconnected the negative ground to battery and the true test was to put the horn fuse under the hood back in and hooray the horn did not honk. Then I further tested and started the cat and hooray the horn wa not honking, but then the air bag light on the instrument panel would not go off, So now anybody know how to turn that off
