While driving, my stratus got stuck in 5th gear. I removed interior linkage and checked for broken parts. None. Then I shifted it using the linkage on the transmission. One of the shift cables moves but the other only does in neutral. Is it probably the shift fork/other internals? I’m used to a 5.2 v8 and really have no clue what I’m doing when it comes to the 3.0 v6.

 

Everything looks correct in the video. The one arm only moves in and out, and it all depends on what gear youve selected. Im guessing you cant shift through the gears even with the engine off?

 

You should have two cables, One will be a crossover cable so you can shift thru the neutral gate of the transmission, The ends have been known to fall off. Check your shifter cables, Both of them.
