Default RE: rev limiter set a 4000 RPM ?????

i replaced my map sensor today and now i can go over 4000 rpm. turnes out the car was in limp mode. it also turnes out that my new motor has bigger b@ll$ than my outher 1. unfortanitly my car idles ruff now and when i slow down sometimes my car will stall out and then start back up agian (sometimes it dousnt even do that) i figger that this is becase my car relerned how to idle without the map sensor. is there any way that i can set the car to relean again without leving it unpluged for a few days or how long doues it need to be unpluged. or will it just eventaly relearn without compleatly going though the whole proses.
please help.... i know you dont have to be ASE certified to know this but i am lost
