I am planning on going with a larger throttle body for my 02 r/t, 3.0 v6. Does anyone have any suggestions? I also have a cold air intake and have a custom exhaust, most likely I will be going with the 8.5 mm spark plug wires if any of that matters. i think that "the fastman" makes one as well, but im not certain...i have seen people with RTs claiming to have a fastman TB..

if you do get one, id like to know how much it helps...

Does fast-man have anything for a 3.0? I didn't see anything on the web site? I have looked at headers. Ripp was who I was thinking, then I heard about them cracking and all of that good stuff. Then I say that for all the money I am trying to put in the r/t, I should just save and get a nice manual evo. Or drop a manual trans in mine and then make the choice of turbo or n/a. Plus I'm a broke bastard so a $150 upgrade seems like a good deal. I hear that it should just balance out the powerband and improve weak points. I was also going to have my chip flashed at that point to advance timeing. I thought when u upgrade a tb though you had to choose a size? Any idea what stock is, and at what point is it too much?

 

i dont recall what stock is...but maybe email the fastman and ask him about it??

i wish you luck in shopping at Ripp..i tried, to no avail, to buy stuff from them..phone calls, emails...no reply. hunt on ebay for header kits for the 3g eclipses...theyre MUCH cheaper. there used to be nice kits for like 500 bucks...including everything except for the catback.

 

hey u could bore out the trottlebody or put a jeep throttlebody on it. if u wanna know how to bore it out ask me a nd ill explain it to u.
