Check your power steering fluid level and try to duplicate when the problem is indeed happening. Does it happen only on really hard right/left turns? Or simply everytime you turn the wheels?

Well, then my suggestion would be to check your CV Joints and your power steering. There's a good chance that the power steering pump could be failing/going out.

Does the car ever seem to take longer to turn when turning the wheel?

oooooo that's not oil there bud..... that's one of usually 2 things......radiator fluid or transmission fluid. It's almost always tranny fluid though.

I'd get your car into a shop fast and pay the $50 or so to have em look your car over.....the last thing you want is to have that kind of problem on the road. I had the seal on my transmission pan go....and it leaked some....and had I not fixed it could have been a big deal. Even still, I caught it early and it was still $400.
