RE: Witch of these three tires for my SXT Coupe
It would help if we had more information on your coupe. What year? What engine?
If you want good tires at good prices, visit www.tirerack.com
Plenty of tires for under $90....and depending on what you want....you may get em for as little as $70 a piece....

All of these are found on TireRack.com and are decent tires. The Kumho's are a good midgrade brand, all of these tires are UHPAS (Ultra High Performance All Seasons) so they will handle most weather short of a blizzard. The Kumho's I almost bought but they wanted $105 before installation at Discount Tire here in Indianapolis. So for about $40 less aint bad....plus this site offers Road Hazard purchase on all its tires.
I assumed you had the 16" wheel and went with nothing but stock sizes. Good luck in whatever you purchase and if I havent said it, welcome to DF!

RE: Witch of these three tires for my SXT Coupe
a quick point..i have known a few people with sport compact-ish cars, who ran continental, and had poor luck with them...
with the kumhos, i dont think that you can beat their prices...they arent the worlds best tires, but for their prices, they may be.
i run yokohamas, and i only spent about 90 a piece for my paradas, and for my current yokos, i spend about 70 a tre, but i had a hook up on those.

I have a set of Kuhmo Ecsta's on my 02 r/t. I also have 17" Konig Reasons and I don't have any complaints. I went to discount tire co. and it wasn't too expensive. Problem is they tend to wear fairly quickly and as they are performance, after one rotation it is time to buy some new tires if you drive hard. But they are cheap so it's ok.

I'd definitely go to discount tire if I were you. Kumho's are cheap and I wouldn't recommend them in any type of performance vehicle but since you have a stratus I think you'll be ok. I have the Kuhmo 712's 275-35-18 on my Z28 and those tires have probably the crappiest traction I've ever had. Cooper tires are decent. I'd look more into price than quality since you really dont need too great of a tire.

I had the Goodyears on my car but when I needed tires I went with the BFG Traction T/A T's. I really like the tire and there not that expensive. With balance and mounting got them at $85/tire which I didn't think was that bad compared to what the asking price for the Goodyear's were which was $110. On tirerack.com the BFG's are around $60 a tire. They have great traction and are a whole lot quieter than the Goodyear's.

I got my BFG's from the dealer and they were $10 cheaper than discount tire. I've seen them here www.tirerack.com for around $60. But I should note that I drive a sedan with 205/60/16 tires.
