hi all im new to this site
i just bought a 95 2.0 mt stratus my tach wasnt working correctly so i decided to replace the cluster when i did the car started for 1 min the shut off so i replaced the orginal cluster and still the same thing all the fuses look good but i dont know whta it is a securty feature or somethin??
can some one help

 

Your imediate assumption to "security feature" has me somewhat concerned.
With a more modern Strat (like my 2002, you must use the proper transponder (not just a cut key) key to start the car. Any other with shut down the ECU.
I dont know if the 95 had this feature or not.

 

i have the same car........it doesn't have fancy security keys, were they even invented/using them in 95 haha?

 

well i dotn hear my fuel pump kick on when i turn the car to the acc or on mode.
but its weird cuz i drove it to my house pulled the cluster started the car started but bogged out then it wouldnt start at all even with the old cluster in, what could it be, could i have killed the fuel pump by pulling the cluster?
