Default were to buy 95 Sebring LXI motor?

well my friend has a 95 Sebring Lxi. His water pump is about to go and a local mechanic is trying to charge him $1400 to replace it. So he is going to go ahead and get a new motor, only problem is he dosnt know were to buy one. So me being a good friend wants to help him some.

Any websites or phone numbers are greatly appriciative.

1400 for a water pump-----bring it to me I'll do it for 1000 and still make a fortune. That is outrageous $$$$ unless he is getting ALOT more than just a water pump. A whole new engine is gonna cost $$$$$$$$$$. Thats a Mitsubishi, last one I did was on a 3000GT ultimate, it cost about 40K for a new engine installed.

yeah, its allota money.... but w/e its not my ride. Are you serious about doing a 40k engine swap... because thats a **** load of money.

Anyways is there another type of engine that might fit the car instead. Im not sure about this but doesnt the Sebring's V6 the same one you find in an GS Eclipse? If so wouldnt it just be cheapr to do a 4g63 engine swap instead? Again, I dont know about this. I have a 240sx right now and my DMS/Mopar knowlege ins't the best around

Thanks for the link though. I found plenty of engines....
