Default Tachometer and Odometer Problems

I have a 1997 Dodge Stratus. The tachometer and odometer comes on and off. I was wondering have any of you had a simuliar probem? And if so how did you correct it? Any information would be helpfull? Thanks

sounds like a shorting ground or possibly a fuze or connection somewhere in the wireing, could be really easy to spot or could be really involved. I know that doesn't really help, just figured I'd offer up my .02

Did you ever figure out the Tachometer odometer problem? I have a 96' 2.4L with the same problem
