Default Was I ripped off? Or one heck of a deal?

So I bought a pair of front, and rear drilled/slot Gripforce F1 rotors for only $122.00. I'm not exactly bursting at the seams with knowledge about prices and all that, but I thought rotors were pretty expensive. Also added on street performance brake pads for $75.00. If you haven't seen my gallery already, my rotors are in pretty bad shape (cosmetic wise) and I've already had them resurfaced twice. So.. did I get a bargain?

not bad deal at all on the rotors, i think you got ripped on the pads. the big deal about slot/drilled rotors is they let gas that come off the pads (when they get REAL hot) pass through the slots/holes instead of pushing or floating the pads away from the rotors. the cheaper ($15-20 pads) smoke sooner than the more pricey ones. unless you race it's better to go with one or the other (a bit cheaper too). in all fairness you will be able to stop sooner, but is 1/2-3/4 a car length worth it? happy motoring.

I bought mine from there and have had them on my car now for about 6 months. So far, so good. I paid about the same price...and with shipping it was like $163 total....

I feel happy with my purchase.

Considering that these are better then the OEM rotors that run about $70 a piece....they're worth the price.

Here's the link to my post about them.....

and here's the link to after they were installed....
