Default heater

I am a Nissan Tech, but i can't figure out why i have no heat in my car?
I checked the coolant, and the heater hoses. It is a northern car, i am thinking the heater core could be plugged?
Any comments would be great.

if your fan speed and vent select ***** work ok check the cool/heat **** for bad connection or shorts. my 02 has no cable (just wires) controlling the ac/heat sys. might just not have any airflow going over the core. you should be able to put your hand behide the radio area (might have to pop a cover off) and feel some heat build up. maybe try a coolant flush? or discon the heater core from the coolant loop and run a water hose through the heater core to try and flush the core? let us know what's up, good luck.

you may have a broken blend door. if you have no coolant leaks, that may be your most likely cause
