I'm having problems with the transmission in my 96 stratus es. It is slow to downshift from 2nd gear to 1st gear. If you are slowing down and try to take off again before it completes its downshift from 2nd to 1st you can see the rpms go up but no accelleration. Upshifts fine through all gears. Had the tranny flushed at 60,000 miles by dealer and I changed the fluid and filter at 90,000. It currently has 104,000 miles on it. It seems you can hear the clicking of it down shifting and its not as fast as it use to be. Any Ideas. I'm in the Air Force stationed in England. The Dodge dealer here looked at it a could not find anything wrong with it. He did the quick learn on the trans but still the same.
