Over the past month, many members on the site have asked about the problems with rough idle, car bucking, jerking or about to shut off after start up? I myself have been faced with the same problem and I even went to the dealer and they were no help. What do you guys think it could be? The says one thing and if thats not the problem then they end up charging you for something else. Someone has to know what is causing this problem. Its seem to be happening to a lot of 00-07 Stratus owners. Please Help us Pinpoint this problem.

 

when our 05 Stratus was doing it, we took it in and they did their check and everything and found that the TPS connections were coming loose...so they fixed and its fine...and it was under warrenty which was nice.

 

The last time I drove a car that was bucking, jerking and did not want to run after starting, it was bad fuel. Low rate fuel without enough detergents can cause the injectors to clog up. Don't see this on the list.
Try running a couple of tanks of good fuel through it with some extra cleaners.
