Transmission failure at 46,000 mi?

RE: Transmission failure at 46,000 mi?
Here are 4 reasons why people have a problem with a Dodge trans. First is that they put the wrong fluid in them ATF2 or 3 etc instead of ATF 4.
Second reason I see is be it a car or van have a trailer hitch on them towing with them when they have not been set up for towing, i.e. trans shift kit or trans cooler.
The third one is from lack of service of the trans filter and also in the early trans fluids flush machines also caused some problems as it used a force flush of the fluid and many don’t change the filter when they do flush it. I’m not saying if you do every thing 100% correctly you will never have a trans problem or get a bad one but it sure will slow down the chances of it breaking down.
The last one is when an engine over heats the trans fluid going through the radiator to cool off does not get cooled off at all it can get even hotter then it was before it went to the radiator so it goes back to the trans hot, heats up the fluid in the pan and then all the fluid winds up boiling and in a short time it will burn up the trans.
