This is what I did with my stratus if you want any ideas...So far.....
2001 Stratus r/t:
eibach prokit springs (1.5" drop all around)
KYB AGX struts for the eclipse (4 way adjustable)
SPEC stage 3+ clutch kit with lightweight option & Lightweight flywheel (good for about 30 hp max gain)
Optima red top battery
AEM Polished cold air intake & K&N extreme filter (good for about 20+hp)
BTW....you can send your pcm to Jet and they will reprogram your chip for the mods you have done to your car for about 300$

i thinks the hoods with the scoops in them look alright on these cars but i personaly think all of the body kits for this car are garbage, they dont do this car any justice

Are those RPW headers the best available? I personally haven't looked into them much, I always thought they'd be too pricey. $500 still seems a bit steep but if they help as much as people say they do I guess it'd be worth it. Do you need to have an aftermarket or custom exhaust all the way back to put on headers?
The absolute best are Hytech, stainless steel with a good history and quality. Your looking at $1400 for a set though and they're just marginally better than RPWs. To install the RPW headers, you'll need the stock downpipe just forward of the cat cut and a flange welded so you can bolt them up. Tearstone shows what is required on their website, they even include the flange, you just need to get someone to cut and weld it on. The exhaust itself can stay stock. RPWs are about as cheap as you can get for a new product, headers for our vehicles aren't cheap.

Dave, I don't like any of the Strat body kits, so I couldn't comment. Now the hoods, those look awesome on our cars. There is one '02 Strat running around my neighborhood, fully kitted and painted a funky pink color. I should really snap some pics of it some day.

Thequisnos, Jet's service has been questioned many times. No one has ever shown proof that their stuff increases horsepower or does anything, especially when you can let a dyno shop tune your stock ECU/PCM for $100 plus their time. If you or someone happens to have a before and after dyno proving Jet's product works, I'll take that back. Also, a CAI is not worth 20hp on our cars... maybe 5hp. Same can be said for a catback exhaust, around 9hp or so. Dynomax offers an exhaust for $400 off Summit or similar sites. There is no easy or cheap way to make these cars go fast.
