1997 stratus, 2.4L.......205k

 

2003, 2.4L, 130,000 miles

 

1999, 2.4 with 187K, almost all original parts on the car. The rear main seal has failed they tell me, trying to decide whether to fix it or get rid of it :/

 

2004, 2.7L, just hit 100,000 miles last night

 

2002 stratus 2.4 dohc 125,000 as I left for work this morning

 

2001 Stratus R/T Coupe 86,000 miles and its the mitsubish 3.0liter 181 cubic inch

 

My Stratus: V6 3.0 Coupe has 89K miles

Problems with this car that I've had.

1) Transmission failed at 87K, bought a used tranny w/ 40K miles.

2) Engine light came on last week due to a faulty O2 sensor and will have to be replaced.

3) Radiator is leaking due a collision and the body didn't check for mechanical problems.

4) The black paint or the clear coat is delaminating all over the place so my car looks like **** now. I found this to be true with all of the cars painted black manufactured by Mitsubishi for that year. Does anyone know of a recall on the paint? I took care of my car did all the recommended fluid changes, polished and waxed the car once a week and and the paint faded. What a piece of ****. I've been sinking too much money into this car. Last ****ing Dodge product or Mitsu that I ever buy again.

 

02 stratus 2.7L 60K

 

185K miles on a '97 2.0L with manual trans. One of the best cars ever built. Better gas mileage than most '10 small cars. Parts are cheap, easy to work on.
