My girlfriend has a 2001 dodge stratus 3.0l it has 144,877 it has some issues with heating but it runs like a beauty. She takes it everywhere. She had it for a year and put over 20,000 on it
i find it funny how u guys are fighting over domestic vs. foreign when the status coupe is 40% foreign and 60% domestic so technically it is foreign car(unless u have the sedan which is all chrystler even though the 2.4 is a shared engine with foreign companies). That 40% is with the 3.0 MITSUBISHI engine and the 2.5 is also MITSUBISHI and the platform is shared with the eclipse and galant.
96 Stratus with 92K miles. It hasgone through3 Head gaskets (2 paid for by Chrysler, one by me). It also had a computer fit that would cause the car to just stop dead at random intervals with no spark. It took the dealer a month to fix, that was about 5 years ago. Since then it's been fine.
