sorry just had to brag on my 10k dollar grocery getter, he couldnt shake me till i ran out of gear. i guess my 300hp focus is a force to be reckoned with

trust me there is a guy in the viper, lol. but i know you can build lots of cars to beat a viper i was just proud of my lil 2.0 for keeping up. i just installed the turbo kit and done everything my self on the car. it was the first time for me to do any thing like that and i didnt think it would keep up with the viper but it did and i just wanted to see what you guys thought since you have vipers and ive never even driven one, lol. not dissing the viper in the least, its an awsome car.

 

Obviously, he didnt know how to drive the viper.

Needless to say, a car with 510 HP and 525 lbs-ft of torque that weighs around 3400 lbs should rocket past a 300 HP Focus ESPECIALLY from a rolling start. I call bullshat on this one!

 

Yup, call BS on this too. Now, where the turbo's do well is from standing still on SOME applications.Rolling start... aViper driver can simply drop down a gear and stomp the crap out of most anything in a 4 cylinder engine format, with or without turbo. That being said, stock Viper rings out to 450 to 500 HP stock, there are alot of cars that can overcome that, but win or lose, I would much rather stand next to my Viper GTS than a Ford Focus any day! Chicks just don't get crazy for a Ford Focus in my opinion.

 

well first off it is sad that ya have to have a car like that to get ladies. and second from a roll my car has no hesitation, i drop the gear and by the time it is on the floor i have 12lb of boost. it wasnt a head to head race, he was in the front and i was behind him. i took the picture after when he was cruzing at 120. yeah no doubt he could have left me sitting at that speed my gearing runs out at 145. but i dont care if you believe me or not.[:'(]lol
