allright im usually in the ram section but i just wanted to figure this out....
i read or heard somewhere that the the hood of a viper costs 13k dollars?..........

Well, not for a GEN III. For a GEN I a hood can run around 4-6K. For a GEN II add about 1-2K (these are used priced for a non-damaged hood). And I would guess for an aftermarket hook it could go over 10K if there is something special about it.
This is one reason a front end crash could mean death for the car. Not just the hood but the lights, and of course engine components are over priced.
