Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum, but not new to Dodge. I work for a dealership in nw Florida.We have been here for over 50 years.I'm trying to work out a special offer program with my GM on the new 2008 Vipers.

My question to you is, what kind of interest is there in purchasing a new Viper? I have all the configurations and pricing, etc. The first two colors that will be produced are the Venom Red Metallic and the Viper Snakeskin Green Metallic.

The cars will be built to your specifications, not just one we would be ordering for our inventory. A deposit will berequired to place the order.

Not that I want an 08, I prefer GEN I and GEN II but do you forsee a lot of dealer markups early during the 08 roll out?

 

I would have to say yes, even though I'm not a big fan of addendums. However, we do use them ocassionally. We trick out a vehicle from time to time and so the new price, along with all of the modifications done, will be posted on the vehicles. The last two we did was a Wrangler Unlimited and a 300C. As with any car, it just takes the right person to fall in love with it and take it home.

With that said, we have a Ford dealer down the road from us who has a Saleen mustang. I've seen the car in front of their dealership, looks nice. From what I've heard from others, they have an extra$20k sticker on it for no reason. I'm sure some places will do similiar markups on the new Viper or even the new Challenger when it comes out next year.

Although I will not be in the market for one, Wife already wants to shoot me, It will be one badass car. Hold out and get the one with the supposed monster Hemi in it!!!!!!

 

It's been busy this week. Tomorrowwe have the Chrysler premiere night. Everyone support their local dealership Wednesday evening. Chrysler will be giving away several cars. I can't remember how many cars, but probably around 8-10.

As far as selling prices, I'm quite competitive. I have the authorization to sell cars below sticker price, even on the new Viper. I also have 3 Rubicon's in my inventory. I've been challenged to see if I can move them before end of the month. Anyone have friends or family in the market? =)
