Massive 08 Viper problems !!!
It is resolved, but the handful of cars may still need to fix applied, at least to my latest knowledge. All dealers now have the TSB, which only involves a PCM flash.
No matter how much you test, the first year of a new model car, or in this case drive train, is bound to have its issues that need worked out. Funny, you pay extra in most cases to have the latest and greatest and you turn out to be testers for the others who decided to buy in 09 or 10 and they will probably pay less. Sometimes waiting is the best thing you can do.
Alex, let me know ifyou car has the PCM flash, if not send me a PM.

Thanks all for the help! It is the PCM Flash dealio.
I am in the midst of a secondary problem that this process has stemmed. Which is Dodges reaction to this: ZERO
I called customer service and got a # (complaint order of sorts) which was supposed to get a District manager or GM of a store to contact me. Not to mention I left messages for my local dealer and got ignored . To make matters worse my car is not fixed and my dealership hasnt heard of the "fix" yet!!!!
One issue to this whole deal may be the dealership doesn't have my car in their possession due to the fact I was not comfortable with them storing my car in a open lot for 3 1/2 weeks in the sun and rain! I moved the car WITH MY OWN EXPENSE since they were unable to store my brand new Viper in a non damaging manner! This should not effect receiving a phone call to bring the car back to fix it!
Who tree can I bark up to get someone to give a crap about the fact I have not RECEIVED a single phone call on this matter from anyone AT ALL? Is a law suit in order? I have documentation of every conversation and all interaction. This is not right.

Alex,
There is no reason your dealer can't fix the car. The T.S.B. to erase & reprogram the P.C.M. is there for the dealer to utilize. I work at a dealer here in Cleveland, Ohio and I'm physically looking at the bulletin right now. It should take them no longer than 2 hours to perform the T.S.B. Have you tried another dealer? If not, try someone else. Make sure your dealer has a Viper-Certified technician on-site.

Thanks for yalls help. My dealer is simply an idiot. If this was anything other than a simple download into my Vipers CPU i would take it from them. MY car has been there for 17 business days which is 3 less than lemon laws. We live in a world of morons. I will have my car back by the weekend in more thanks to this board than Dodge in NC.
