Well I noticed the smell is now a slow drip/leak and it is on the right rear side inside the rear tire. It is dripping off the shock bar. The mechanic saus that it is common for these cars to leak fuel if they are filled up is that the case? He says to run the car down to half a tank and then see. I appreciate your input everyone,

Hmmm, that I could not answer. I never have had mine full. I let it get to 1/4 or a little less then put in $30.

With that said it is not "normal" for any car to leak gas.
