Default Viper running rough overcharging 15v

Hey Guys

I have a 2008 Dodge viper cars running rough it goes into limp home mode.

I had read online sometimes its the battery so got that changed then we found out that the car is over charging. its always at 14.99V

she idles fine but as soon as you get moving its on limp mode and feels like I am only running on 5 cylinders.

I found a 2nd hand alternator car still had the same issue

also was reading guys saying it might be the battery temp sensor.

if anyone has any info where should I look next I would really appreciate it

Thanks

I believe that the PCM controls the alternator output on the CANBUS cars. The sensor is supposedly under the battery. Not sure how to test it though. Have you scanned the PCM for any codes it may have stored?
