why do they put a governor on the viper??

 

oh, yeah, why and what is it?

 

I hear a lot about the governed viper. Tell me this; why are the people doing the test are not reporting the governer? Yes I have heard about a rev limiter. By the way a rev limiter is not a governer. So if the viper is at red line when it hits 190, then thats it's top speed. If not then you will not have a engine much longer. So show me anything any where that talks about the viper being governed. Thankyou.

ok the sixth speed in relation to the motor is good for 300 mph + no way in hell is the viper redlining @200 mph. if the viper stressed that much imagine the vettes...btw there was hennessys @ the circlec doin constant 205 mph speeds around the track in 98'

I've been lookin to buy both of these cars-- The Z06 feels like my G35.. A luxury sports car.

The Viper is just pure sport, it looks like it, feels like it, sits like it.

The only way you can tell if its a C6 Z06 is slightly improved looks and a little badge
