Just curious as in what you would like to see in the next Viper, while keeping in mind its true competitor is the GT and it has to be under 100k no matter what.
Also, don't turn this into a Vette v. Viper discussion... because we all know what the poor man's sportcar is. Haha

Lemans style rear exhaust and scrape plate with a better spoiler for the rearend to help with a weight reduction. Also no speed limiter and at least 40 more hp w/ an underated HP figure like the SRT-4.

I want it to have at least 600hp so it will take another 10 years for the vette to catch up. I also want it to go over 205 mph so the gt can't say anything.

 

600+ hp/trq , lighter, same body style, 205+mph top speed.....btw...if the governor was taken off the viper do yall think it could go over 205?

i gotta lot, SIMILIAR body to current Viper, 700 horses/torq so that the vette takes forever to catch up, carbonfiber on most of the vehicle, Better transmission(it's good, but a seven speed will do), Bigger muffler tips, and muffler pipes that don't have to cross to the other side of the car(u know..), hardtop convertible with a coupe compatibility that won't make em(Vipers) different from eachother, Maybe better electronics such as stability control and stuff that do turn off and on, Revised aero's, 4seater!?! NO, Better seats, lower suspension, 500 watts of sound, bigger trunk space, dual brakes per wheel(two calipers and rotors PER wheel!!!! i thought of it first many months ago), lighter rims, bigger rim sizes up to 22"-23", MDS (SRSLY), and everything better lol

 

that would ring it up to be maybe......130 grand

 

I'd like to see the 625Hp with similair torque, a carbonfiber non-removable roof, serious weight reduction, aluminum engine block(?), possibly an aluminum alloy body, more durable seats, refined interior but not too luxurious, a governed limit at a little over 200Mph, lower stiffer suspension, and better aerodynamics.

Stability control is a no go, 4 seater wtf, and no MDS.. it isn't an economy car.

an extra hundred hp isnt goin to raise it that much...no way in hell...im sure those motors are good w/ bolt ons and c an be done very c heaply by our c hrysler engineers.... we are talkin about a team that can bring you 400 hp neons for less than 10 grand!!! NEVER underestimate them EVER!!
