Default Crank Pully Issues 05 SRT-10

After hearing a funny noise under the hood, I investigate. Only to find my Main belt has spun off. when I try and replace it, I notice that the crank pulley is loose. So I torque it back on and replace the belt, fire her up, and it came loose again. this time I take it all the way off. The splines were completely stripped! The crank shaft was also rounded off. I've only had this car for about 1 year (3000 miles), and this was quite a suprise. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem?

Thanks,

Rob

I crated the engine and shipped it back to the factory, luckely all will be covered by the waranty. So far they think it was a fartory defect and are replacing the crankshaft. I can't wait to get her back.

The SRT10 Ram has the same issue. You need to check the bolts while changing your oil. 130 ft/lb

Well I got her back today, finally. Everything seems to be running smoothly. They also said to periodicaly check the bolt.
