Viper update: No doubt about it 100% confirmed:
2008= ZB
2008 SRT10 Coupe: 8.4L w/6-speed manual
2008 SRT10 Convertible: 8.4L w/6-speed manual

The only styling tip I received was so miniscule I didn't think it was worth mentioning - the SRT-10 badges have been redesigned (silver satin color). I was also told that the the SRT-10 logo is going to be "lighted" somewhere on the vehicle (rear center brake lamp perhaps?).
The axle ratio will be as before, 3.07. I assume that new style wheels will offered for the returning 18x10" and 19x13" sizes. Audio will be also be similar to '06, 310-w amp w/7 speakers and sub. Not sure why but the front windows will not have the "one-touch-up" feature. Suede/leather seats will be standard as before. Dual exhaust will be side-exited as probably expected.
As for the "ZC" series all I know is that the '08 ZB model year will be long, running to the normal end of the '08 model year (late June 2008). If the new gen was going to be '09 the soonest production would start would have to be around October-November 2008.

Something is missing. They plan to skip a model year, shut down production for a period of time to retool for badges and a new power plant? Something is missing, I still say a major upgrade of the suspension and a few minor styling changes, just as I said in my 08 rumor post. I may have missed on the CID and gears though....
how is it that this guy knows this much, this far in advance, and can talk about it without losing his job? because i assume that the only person who could know this much would have to be an employee.
