Got a great comparo in the Motor Trend June issue. The Hennessey Viper has its way with some tricked out Corvettes, Mustang, and a Pontiac Gand Am (GTO). Rear wheel hp of 983.5 and 981.2 pound feet of torque and that wasn't even cranked up according to Hennessey.

 

Hennessey's viper will smoke any vette anyday.[8D]

Hennessy Vipers are damn fast. But how many of them are out on the streets? I only ran into one Viper in my Z06 and It was a piece of cake.

 

Considering hennessey viper cost 225,000, not many. Thats a small price to pay to be faster than a 1million dollar Bugatti Veyron. What model was the viper.

I i'm pretty sure someone who has the money to buy a Bugatti Veyron, will have enough change left over to modify their car to put the hennessy viper in it's place.

 

The Bugatti already has a w16 engine producing 1000 horsepower, so its even.
