Possible cheaper version (Could be Firepower or SRT-10 & SRT-10 ACR)
Now, the pic is very bad, could be a photo chop, but I still maintain what I said in point 3, other than the CID.
With all these sites and people making claims, I wonder who's going to be right and who's going to lose credibility?

I spoke with a very well connected and informed gentleman recently during the Indy Import & Truck Bash. This gentleman had 2 Vipers on hand plus his Z06. He definitely knew his business about the Viper and Corvette for that matter.
If, what he said is true, then the current 08 Viper is already done and being put thru its testing paces now....and he stated that the 08 Viper will only see 560hp...a moderate increase over the current model, but not the expected 600hp we were all hoping for.
All I'll say is that this is still merely a rumor....but if it winds up being true....you heard it from the Viper basher FIRST!

Saleen S7 = 750hp/700ftlbs torque Twin Turbo V8 - eats Vipers all day everyday....but it's a true supercar.....the Viper is still more of a crossbreed....still cheaper and would give the Saleen a good run though....

I dont see how the saleen s7 with 700 horsepower beats the viper when its top speed was only 248 compared to henneseey venom 255mph. You should say the saleen s7 with 550 horsepower which is without twin turbo (stock) compared to a (stock) viper is faster than the viper.
Better yet here are the times
Saleen s7 0-60 in 3.4 henn viper coupe 3.2
1/4 mile 10.9 10.5
topspeed 248 255
Maybe when they test the 1000 horsepower saleen S7 it will stand a chance

-08 Viper will have the GTSR concept car look to it
-May use a modified Mercedes platform
-May use a modified SRT-8 engine (not likely, but to cut costs)
-Heard that a coupe will only be available from 08 on, but the Viper started as a vert, so I think it's here to say.

-Most likely noticable weight reducing materials on the exterior
