how much boost and hp?
I would not go over 6 pounds without forged internals. That is what I plan to put on my Ram SRT-10. Older GEN II and GEN I engines can handle more.

See with vipers you don't need to run alot of boost for huge power. Even at 10psi a supercharged viper will be pushing over 600HP.

Anyone with any technical knowledge should know that forced induction bolted on to a hyperreutectic cast piston motor is just stupid. Combine that with crap gas and you are an accident waiting to happen. There are tons of used crap blowers up for sale for this very reason.
By the way, boost is more of a limit to the capacity of the brain below your waist to handle it...

The problem is mostly the position of the upper ring land (groove) in these pistons. Not the material they are made out of.
I'm not new to cars but new to the viper as far as working on one. I've been asked to install a twin turbo kit on a GenII and i'm trying to do my research before i commit myself to something and get in over my head. the kit is from proturbokits.com and its complete with E-Manage and all. the part that concerns me is the fitment issue as far as where the turbos will be located and is there enough room to do the install with out pulling the motor. this kit produces(so they claim) 950hp at 7psi on a conservative tune. does this sound accurate? i have installed turbo kits and superchargers before but not on something this highend. any help would be greatly apreciated.[sm=helpout.gif]
