Pictures of the Final Edition 2002 Viper GTS Coupes:
I thought I would post a few pictures of the last 360 2002 Dodge Viper GTS Coupe Final Edition cars, sitting inside the Mack/Conner Ave Plant... reguard the picture of me in the one... lol, I had two hours sleep the night before because I had gone to the NASCAR race at Michigan Int'l Speedway the day before, and basicly sleep most of the ride down to the plant that morning!

I counted them when I was there, and walked around and looked at every single one, I remember it was somewhere around 84 of them I think it was. Give or take a few.

Alright, I tell you a funny little story that a guy I know who works on the assembly line there told me...
Back in the fall of 2000, there was a Chrysler Exec. and one of the plant managers traveling a few blocks away from the plant, going towards it, when a Viper RT/10 w/ no plate and window sticker went screaming by them going the other way on the road they were on. Well the manager didn't say nothing, but I guess he knew something was up, and when the exec. left, he got the keys to several cars, parked near the frieght dock door, where they load the cars up onto an enclosed semi for delivery, and noticed that some of the cars had over 20 miles on them! He then had a little inside sting to see what exactly was happening, put together.
Within a week, it was found out that a guy who worked on the line, I am not going to say what postion he worked on, was sneaking the cars past the plant surcurity and taking them for rides to go out to lunch. He was followed over a months time, and was found w/ several different cars driving around. Well Chrysler decided not to press charges, but the union and Chrysler together canned him and he was "red flagged" which means he can never work on an assembly line or anything for Chrysler again!
