Subjectivity is a pointless debate....

Yeah, but so much fun nonetheless

The LS7 is just a better product..and so is the Z06.
That statement made my day. Obviously you own neither a Z06 ora viper of any year.
And yes I owned three Vipers all Gen's and a 06 Zo6. I for one will never buy another Vette. Although I will say my 05 Ford Gt rocks them both. Except forsome bolt issues...................
I do like the GT! There is one running around NW Ohio, talked to him this past fall, he had one loud aftermarket exhaust on it, he said something like 7K in exhaust.

And yes, most people that reply and make comments have not owned either car.
I for one bought a full exhaust for less than 4k. Far less thanmy Gen III exhaust from JON B.
The Gt is a different car. One of the few that I will keep for a very long time. I think in time this car will rise in value dramtically. Just like some of the Gen I and II's.
As far as the Z06. GM can keep it. The car was a real pile. From a horrid valve issue tothe dreaded roof seperation. It seemed like there was always an issue.
One thing I could never say about any of my Viper's. Take them to the track. Beat on it. Drive home beating on it. Wash in driveway. Take the wife out to dinner!!!!!
Thank you Dodge! Waiting for my 08 from Bill P....................
I also have a fully loaded 2002 vette roadster. I bought it brand new. It has 16,000 miles and has never been in the shop for nothing. Iwould buy another vette ina minute. Love the car as I do my viper GTS as well.

Wish spring would hurry up and get here.

I too had a C5. Mine was a 2000 though. It was relatively worry free. I did get bitten by the column lock though. Sucked as the car was brand new and had to be towed from a car show. Lots of people laughing. Other than that just a few small electronic Gizmos.
But I think the C6ZO6 was rushed to market. The LS1 was bullet proof. Where as this motor is too stressed out. The roof seperation issue was not well thought out. Those problems along with small small issues forced me to get rid of it.
P.SYour GTS couldbe the best color combo on a Viper ever!!!

Oh and just for Importkiller....

Seems like you've had a lot a nice cars; more power too ya man.

I don't think thenew Z06 engineis stressed out at all, at leastnot to a point whereit can't handle it's own power. I think that just like most new issue cars incorporating new materials, processes and procedures, there are going to be a few things that require tweeking that will be eventually overcome. If the basic design is sound then these issues will be resolved...and they are.

Same goes for the roof issue on the frame. I beleive they were using a defectiveadhesive for the roof panels but have since identified the problem and it is now being fixed. What your left with is a fantastic vehicle in which most all the experts agree the Z06 is. It's only going to get even better.

Same thing goes for the Viper. It has evolved into one mean *** fantastic driving machine that is also going to get better and better.

I love both vehicles.

Enjoy your cars. Hell of a collection.
