ok no dice on doing it today so i will tell then do. while i was sitting at work one night a buddy with a 09 parked next to me. i sat looking at his truck and mine and then i went and got some black electric tape and basically taped off the corners to mimic the 09. i was really on the fence and wanted to get some pics for opinions, no camera, but it did look pretty damn sweet. a different version of eyelids. once i put the chillens down ill go recreate the idea. ill make a thread in the general 3rd gen as well

Put some vinyl tint over the amber reflector. That is what I did and it looks pretty much just like that but the light still goes through when you turn the signal on. This pic kind of shows it.

I like yours teach but I think if you painted it like teaches on the outside it would look badass...I guess if you live in those strict areas that wouldnt be a good idea though

Just be careful if you paint over the flasher. The last thing you need is an accident happening bc someone couldn't see your turn signal bc you painted over it. That would be a tough one to explain to the insurance company.
