I checked, he must have dropped out of our group bc we went down in numbers from 158 to 157. I personally think he should join back up even though he is white, I like having other guys form SE PA in our group .

blacked out taillights
has anybody blacked out theyre taillights yet? whats the best way to do it? i want really black but dont want to deal with getting pulled over i found out the best way to do it on your own is wetsanding it then spraying it and put the clear coat on it. my buddy is saying he did is car by just spraying the black spray on it and it looks fine but wont that fade? i could also just buy aftermarket led taillights that are black and some of the ones i was looking at on ebay look pretty decent what do you guys think would look best. i think spraying it and wetsanding it would look the best but since i dont want to deal with the cops or someone hitting me and it being my fault. if someone has done the wetsanding way how hard was it and what exactly what i need thankz BLACK POWER #150

it is one of the cheapest and easiest mods to do. you will need 1 can VHT night shades. sells at my local advance auto for 12.00 a can. and 1 can topcoat/clear i use one with uv protection, and ond bottle of rubbing compound. i use megruairs ultimate compound. basically wet sand w/ 1000 grit or above to remove shine from light. clean really good. some people use an adhesion promoter i never have. spray even medium coats giving paint time to dry in between. the number of coats is to your discretion. one your done painting let it dry for an hour or 2 then spray clear. it may have orange peel no worries. once the clear is dry let is dry for as long as you can stand it. wet sand again w/ 2000 grit. it will look dull now. get a clean cloth and rub the compound over the lights. the more work you do here the better they will look. i was told to install my lights before i used the compound as it would make it easier. clean off the compound and enjoy

my truck gots cancer!
i washed and waxed my truck the nigth before, and as i was walking out of class teh next day i noticed a spot on the right passanger door ont he very bottom about 6" long and 3" tall where the paint is bubbling/rippling up!! =[ i had never noticed it before. i believe it is only ont eh door section though, not the body part. anyway...im gonna leave it go till it gets noticable, but in the future, about how much would it cost to have an area that big refinished at a body shop? any ideas guys? thanks!
