i have a 98 ram with a 5.9

 

does anyone know if the sports had more horse power from the factory then the slt laramie's

 

sports was just a package. Just painted front bumper and rear, And color matching grill.

 

So what number am I?

 

Thanks I was just wondering my driver is a 99 ram 1500 slt 5.9, but the other week I bought a 2k sport with intentions of repainting it and reselling it, but since I got it I heard different things about it one being more horse power, and another was different suspension I started wondering if I was keeping the wrong truck. So far my 99 has been lifted 2.5" in the front and 2" in the rear, cold air intake pacesetter headers superchip 3815, kc lights, 180 thermostat and going this week to pick up another 5.9 magnumto build along with another 46re and a posi 9.25. First dodge I ever owned and dont see myself ever driving anything else

 

my durango has a 5.9 does that count

I have a question about the 2002 throttle body. I bought a new throttle body, and the directions talk about an "S-Bolt" that needs to be attached. But I cannot find this bolt and im thinking its the bolt that attatches to the air hat on the older models, but my air hat is held on by hose clamp. Am I correct? Should I be worried about this "S-Bolt"? Thanks.
