Ok thanks. But I'm pretty sure the gas motors are 5.7 litters.

 

lol yes from 03 up the hemi's are 5.7 02 back they were 5.9, the 360 magnum

Could still be the shift interlock cable, it could be getting bad. I know mine had a recall, as did all 2001-2002 Dodge Ram Van/Wagon, Dakota, Durango and 2002 Dodge Ram Pick-ups. Recall # G28, I still have the card because I still haven't had mine done yet.

oh.. and if you've got a 2007 2500 with the HEMI, Look Here

hey fellas i just found out about this club. Awesome i have an 03 QC 104000 miles on it. Great truck was a ford guy till this truck. Its great that you guys have this just for the 5.9 it seems that 80% of the 3rd gen forum is for hemi mods or the 4.7....i would like to join...

 

Hows everyone doing I am a newbi to this forum everyone calls me Doc, I drive a 99 ram 1500 with the great 5.9. I will admit it is the first dodge I have ever owned, I absolutely love this truck in the spring I plan on repainting in a kandy emerald green as well as putting a leveling kit and a one inch helper spring in the rear for a set of 33's and I am looking for some ideas for engine mods cam, heads, and tuning.
