I checked the canister no signs or charcoal in the lines . The relays are getting warmer than they should it died at a stop light wouldn't restart I got out moved relays around and it started but when I stopped again it died again but I was at home so I felt the relay it was warmer than normal I tested electrical for current and resistance everything tested normal . I was thinking fuel pump heating up because it is in tank and I was at a quarter tank.

Yes the lock on the brake would be your foot pressing it down too far thus making the rear tires not only work against its own weight & traction but also the rear brakes engaging. Thats the toughest thing about a brake stand is finding the sweet spot on where you're locking just the front brakes.

Generally I just brake enough to get them roasting then apply like half to 3/4s throttle then once its roasting I floor it and let off the brake and start adding some turns to orniment the brunout haha.

Sometimes just flooring my truck from stop will yield 10-15ft long posi marks on dry pavement. Almost took out the whole side of a 06 Mustang with my box a few weeks back racing him from stop light to stop light, my *** end swung out sideways at him and I ate him very handedly. I don't have the death flash on my 97 so my low end is extremely ripe with power compared to for example my sisters 2000 Ram with a 360 which has a small lag off the line.

I will say this, my trucks off the line power is very very strong and under 60mph it moves and feels like my buddies 04 Hemi truck, The Hemi probably has me on mid-high end power, but on the low end side my truck feels like it could equal the Hemi truck.

And again, welcome to the 5.9 forum...we are survivors!
Hey all....I know several of you are trying to solve technical issues here. While you may get some answers you would have better luck asking questions in the technical section in the 2nd generation forum.
