yeah dallas is on the list, first colo then florida then dallas and finally vegas maybe a trip to antigua at the end of the year. i will give everyone i know on here a heads up when we have definitve dates. maybe i can swing by one of the dfwrams meets. we are driving to fl so i would like to swing by and meet up w/ weedahoe if its not too far out of the way, we'll see.

 

Count me in! Ive only got 2" drop shackles right now, focusing more on engine mods first. But I plan on a 2/4.5 drop with 22's maybe 24's. Oh, and I have a 4X4. Bring on the haters! =P

Welcome to the new guys, I'm think'n folks are hanging out on the tech forum. But everything seems slow. I got the 2/4.5 drop done. Had to put my front bump stops back in and occassionally I hit in the rear when running at speed going through dips. Using Monroe gasomatics. The front aligned nicely after installing caster/camber adjusters. Drives like new. The shop just couldn't get it right without them. The Caltracs eliminated the axle hop I was experiencing. So all is good with the drop.

welcome bud. bad *** looking truck. i dont think i have seen that hood silver before. lowered 4x4 ftw. my 05 4x was dropped 2/4.

 

so my wife actually came out and helped me mod a little today. it was on her tahoe but still shocked the hell out of me. we painted her emblems front and back black and debadged the rest of it. i was impressed. now she wants her calipers painted maybe some led tails... ha ha it has begun

 

Greg i had to take a second to appreciate how clean and sexy your truck is. i need to get a reg cab so i can supe it up and use my quad as my dd/cruiser

 

Hey, I've been keeping up with guys for the last few weeks but wanted to wait until I got some pics before posted but I got a question real quick. I bought an 03 QC a few weeks ago and it has a 2/4 drop on it(coils, flip kit) and I've read a lot of you guys that have similar setups saying that your trucks still ride good. Well mine does decent on the highway but it rides like it's slammed or something. Well maybe not quite that bad but it's pretty rough and feels stiff. It's got the shock extensions, the rear bump stops are out but I never bottom out so I'm not to worried about that and the front still has a few inches from the stops. I've seriously thought about bagging it but really don't want to spend that kind of money right now.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, I'll try and get some pics this week.
