John like mentioned before check the B.S.. its easy to do
if you can pull your tire/rim off..
toss a piece of 2/4 across the back side and measure from bolt hole
up to the bottom of the wood.. that will give you a rough guess on your B.S
then bring it to a rim shop and say you need to tuck the rim in by a 1/4 in to half in.. see if they can match your rims with the proper off set (if its 5.5 your going to want a 5.75 or 6) as going lower number would push the rim out.. you want to bring it in.
or like mentioned about add spring spacers 3/4 in there like 50 to 100 bucks or something.. and a shop can drop them in within an hour...
and they dont have any major ride issues with spacers that small..

It is just a matter of time before you see the light..... Actually here in the Philippines there are a lot of custom built (owner Jeep) types typically running four cylinder toyota gas or Isuzu/Mits diesel engines. Bodies are often stainless steel. In the 70's I had a LT1 chevy engine and M22 muncie I wanted to build a street jeep with here in the PI. Unfortunately the pieces were lost in shipping. Great fun!

i,m sure its more an issue with the front and not the back with the 4x4
so i might just do an old school chop and cut the springs 2in int he rear to level it at lest... until next summer when i can get under it and see what would be the issues of dropping the front..
