Do you have any pictures of your piping from the muffler?

With the drop block you are raising the center of the axle from the spring providing greater leverage that can twist the spring (axle hop) which puts a greater strain on the mounting hardware/spring perch. Using the OEM shackle actually improves stablity as it shorter and more rigid then the longer replacement shackles that came with the flip kit. But when the rear of our trucks is dropped 4-1/2" (mine is 4") the bumps have to be removed and axle travel is limited. I have stiff shocks and custom aftermarket bumps and as you can see from the picture somewhat limited travel. I intend to do a "c notch" eventually. But with my current setup I can run at speed on back roads without bottoming or rubbing. (well occassionally bottoming) I recommend "c notching" with more than a 4" drop. And then tire clearence also comes into play.

Sorry for the long winded reply, but I think getting this right is important.

Good, has you can see I don't like a lot of exhaust showing. With all the work done on the rear of the truck I didn't want to ruin the clean line with pipes hanging down.

Your truck has inspired some of the mods done on Red and I am always interested to see where you are going with your mods.

Default Lower Class Club

Hey all It has been a really long time since I did a post and I definatly want to join up. "The Lower Class Club" is right down my alley. I hope I can live up to it's standards, lol. I'm glad I checked it out I was very impressed with BIG MAC 18's Ram I was trying to decide on raising or lowering my Ram and seeing how Big Mac 18's ride was done both ways helped out. I need to join The 287 Crew next too.
