For the money, go with the BTL's. It's worth it. Excursion doesn't mean anything. I'm workin wit 4 10's, only about 1000 RMS, and puttin down a 150db. Lots of things come in to play.

You go that big, you're gonna need an extra alternator, one more battery, a couple capacitors. It's just like speed, how fast you wanna go depends on how much money you got. Same with audio. How loud you wanna be? All depends on your bank account.

 

haha actually excursion does mean something. the larger the excursion the more air (and sound) it can put out, but i was simply pointing outhow sixk it looked. i dont want BTL's im not in this for insane worthless bass, id rather have SQ over SPL, btls sound quality is **** but they are amazing for compsand just rediculious bass. SSD's are sick and their sound quality is awesome. but im also lookin at RD sonace Vs's also. cant make up my mind

ya know i was looking to post about a roll pan but after thinking as i was writing i know my answer i cant get a roll pan if i use my hitch as its also hooked to the bumper.....hmmmm damn......i got a line on a black fron bumper i think flat black but if i trade ill paint it pretty quick......
